Come join us to care for the places we love.
Plan for a day of trail work on Transition Habitat Conservancy land at Portal Ridge Wildlife Preserve. Hike in to the project site (about 1.5 miles with a significant climb), work with a group, or help from the trailhead — all skill levels welcome. Families, friends, and first-time volunteers are encouraged to come.
What we’ll be doing:
Trail maintenance and brushing (no experience required)
Help organizing lunch and supporting returning crews (if you’d prefer a less physical role)
What to bring:
Sturdy shoes and clothes for trail work
Work gloves
Plenty of water and snacks
Sun protection
