Transition Habitat Conservancy to apply for Restoration Grant

Transition Habitat Conservancy is applying for grant funding from the State of California, Department of Parks and Recreation, Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division, for the 2020 grant cycle. The grant monies will be used to fund Transition Habitat’s ongoing habitat restoration and OHV route management efforts in the Fremont-Kramer and Superior- Cronese Desert Wildlife Management Areas of San Bernardino County.

A public meeting regarding the grant application has been scheduled for 6:00 pm Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at the Phelan Pizza Factory-3936 Phelan Road, Phelan CA 92371.

Transition Habitat Conservancy welcomes the public’s input regarding this Restoration Grant. The preliminary grant proposal will be made available online for review and public comment from March 3, 2020 to May 4th on the California Off Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation website at http://ohv.parks.ca.gov/.
