All communities need local parks and natural areas where they can walk in nature and recover from the daily stresses in our lives. Park planning and protecting our natural resources is part of our responsibility to our children and grandchildren. These efforts are often accomplished by volunteers and every person can make a difference.  You can too, please help us by donating or volunteering today.

Our mission
Transition Habitat Conservancy was created to preserve wildlife, forest, plants, beautiful landscapes and water infiltration zones along the Mojave Desert / San Gabriel Mountains boundary by obtaining land protection agreements and acquiring private land for protecting natural resources for public enjoyment, hiking, horseback riding, and educational and natural science studies.

Our goal is to preserve high desert-to-mountain transition habitat including all inhabitants for the enjoyment and inspiration of generations to come and protecting an integral part of the San Andreas fault rift zone.

Transition Habitat Conservancy is an all volunteer 501(C)(3) charitable non profit public benefit corporation. All donations are tax deductible. THC is a member of the Land Trust Alliance.
