Monarch Butterfly Gardening

  • www.transitionhabitat.org 1681 Hillview Rd Pinon Hills United States (map)

Who: We are looking for a small group (limited enrollment available) of volunteers to assist us in mulching our Monarch Butterfly Waystations at the office and our Discover Center.

What: Come learn how to garden for butterflies! This will involve spreading mulch around the gardens and some light gardening (gloves and tools will be provided)

When: Saturday June 1st from 8am-10am

Where: Meeting at our office in Pinon Hills

Why? This is our yearly maintenance for our registered waystations, which contribute to the monarch population. The monarchs use these plants to breed and feed on each year. These gardens contribute hundreds of monarch butterflies to the population each year!
